Buddy Walk 2010

The Edmonton Down Syndrome Society (EDSS) will be having it's 6th annual Buddy Walk on Sunday, November 7, 2010. The walk will be held at Hawrelak Park and will start at 11:00am.

SwimAbilities

SwimAbilities is a new beginners swimming program offered by the City of Edmonton for children (ages 4-16) with special needs.  This program has been piloted for a year, and has just recently expanded to Jasper Place Pool in the west end, as well as ACT Pool in Rundle Park.

Inspiring Education , Setting the Direction, Speak Out, and the many other initiatives underway in the education sector have involved Albertans of all ages and from all walks of life.  Thanks to the thousands of contributions, we have a solid foundation on which to make an informed transformation of our education system.  And we want to continue to engage with Albertans in a meaningful way.  That is why I am today launching the next phase of the dialogue: Inspiring Action on Education.
