JOEY MOSS LITERACY CENTRE FOR EXCELLENCE
Edmonton Down Syndrome Society thanks the Edmonton Oilers Community Foundation for its generous contribution to the Joey Moss Literacy Centre For Excellence. The Centre is being developed to better support literacy in our community.
The Joey Moss Literacy Centre For Excellence will provide educational workshops, an on-site library, online literacy resources, reading coach experts, and a speech-literacy consultant.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS
"Meet Their Need and They Will Read" by Natalie Hale
Training parents and educators to teach reading to all-aged learners with developmental delays, such as Down syndrome and autism. Award-winning author, educator, international speaker, and parent of an adult son with Down syndrome. Natalie provides strategies based on best practice, research, and experience. $100 on or before October 14, $125 after October 14. Meals and snacks provided. |
