Our Director of Community & Family Services is here to provide guidance, support, and connection for parents, guardians, educators, caregivers, and support staff navigating a wide variety of needs and challenges.

Whether you are looking for resources, advocacy support, community connections, or simply someone to talk to, no concern is too big or too small. Support is provided in a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgmental manner, with the goal of helping families and individuals feel informed, empowered, and connected. If we are unable to directly assist, we will help connect you with the appropriate resources and supports within the community.

You do not need to be a member of EDSS to connect with our Director of Community & Family Services. Support is available to anyone who has a family member with Down syndrome, from infancy through adulthood.

Families may self-refer or be referred by an educator, healthcare professional, or FSCD representative.

Families registered with the Director of Community & Family Services will receive information about upcoming EDSS workshops and webinars, Wonder Years events, community programs, resources, and other opportunities to connect with the EDSS community.
