A place to learn, connect, contribute and grow.
The EDSS Adult Day Program provides adults with Down syndrome with meaningful opportunities to build skills, develop independence and participate in their community in a supportive and engaging environment.
Running Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM, the program focuses on practical life skills, social development, communication, confidence and independence. Participants take part in a variety of activities designed to reflect real-life experiences and individual interests.
Through structured activities, community outings, group experiences and opportunities for choice and responsibility, participants can practice skills such as communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork and navigating everyday situations.
The Adult Day Program is about more than filling a day. It’s about creating meaningful routines, building relationships, discovering interests and developing the skills and confidence to participate more fully in everyday life.
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, connect with others and grow.
