Adult Basketball

Get in the game. Build your skills. Be part of the team.

Senior Basketball is an active and social program for participants ages 17 and older who enjoy getting on the court, learning new skills and being part of a team.

Running Tuesday evenings from September through April, the program provides opportunities to develop basketball skills such as passing, shooting, dribbling and teamwork while staying active and having fun.


More than just a chance to play, Senior Basketball creates a welcoming environment where participants can build friendships, practice communication and teamwork, grow in confidence and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with being part of a team.

Whether you're already a basketball fan or simply looking for a fun way to stay active and connected, there’s a place for you on the court.


Ages: 17+
When: Tuesdays, September–April 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Cost: $75

Location: Edith Rogers School - Gym

Start Date: September 29


Tigers Basketball


Build skills. Build confidence. Be part of the team.

Junior Basketball gives children and youth ages 6–16 the opportunity to learn, play and have fun in an encouraging and inclusive environment.

Running Wednesday evenings from October through March, participants develop basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork while staying active and building confidence.

The program also provides opportunities to practice communication, cooperation and social skills while making friends and experiencing the fun of being part of a team.

Whether they're new to basketball or already love being on the court, Junior Basketball is a place where participants can learn new skills, try new things and celebrate their successes.

Ages: 6–16
When: Wednesdays, October–March
Cost: $75

Location: E'cole Maurice Lavallee - Gym 6:00 - 8:00pm

Start Date: October 14


Floor Hockey


Grab a stick, get moving and be part of the team!

Floor Hockey is a fun and active program for participants ages 8 through adulthood. It offers a welcoming environment where participants can learn and develop floor hockey skills while staying active, building confidence and enjoying time with friends.


Running Mondays from September through April, participants have opportunities to practice skills such as stick handling, passing, shooting and teamwork. The program also encourages communication, cooperation and sportsmanship, helping participants build skills both on and off the floor.

Whether participants are experienced players or picking up a hockey stick for the first time, Floor Hockey is all about getting involved, having fun and being part of a team.

Ages: 8–Adult
When: Mondays, September–April 5:00pm - 6:00pm
Cost: $75

Location: St. Francis Xavier Sports Centre: Gym 3
